Rock Dog Releases “Silver Ships”: 16 Remastered Live Tracks

Silver Ships Album Cover

A not long ago, in a big city not far away, the band Parousia remade old connections and together recorded a new two-track single titled “Moon Dogs” featuring: “The Weekday Song” and “No Songs For Mary”. Although both of those songs were played many times live on stage, they were never recorded in a studio (or had finished lyrics for that matter) until 2019, when the band reunited to record “Moon Dogs” at Saturn Studios in Hollywood, CA. Then, in 2021 the band released a completely new song for the holiday, a single titled, “The King Of Christmas

Now, in FEB 2022 Rock Dog Records brings you “Silver Ships”, a 16-track compilation of Parousia’s most eclectic and ambitious works, ranging from progressive-rock to alternative-rock, recorded live at clubs and colleges in Western New York and Southern California (1978-1992). In these recordings, you can hear the band’s writing and performance skills mature as they progress through 15-years of live shows. All tracks on Silver Ships have been hand-selected and remastered to ensure the utmost care has been taken to preserve the essence and ambiance of these rare live recordings.

Gerald, your band used to rehearse in my Aunt’s basement in Riverside. When I was a kid I would sit and listen to your rehearsals all the time.

Ahhhh ! The good old days ! My God ! Where did all those happy times go I ask everybody ? They have been STOLEN from us unfortunately; and replaced with all this chaos; bedlum and turmoil in our current age. It’s truly disturbing. Is somebody UPSTAIRS trying to tell us something or what ? Hmmm; could be ! Keep the faith pilgrims. Thanks for the precious; sweet memories ‘bro !
