Here are several video clips from Parousia’s Church and State show:
A more mature Parousia is featured in this set of photos from our Church and State theme show during the holiday week at the end of 1985. We went to a lot of trouble creating a certain ambiance for this show in a club as small as the Plant 6 in Kenmore. Bassist (and guitarist) Robert Stuart Lowden’s artistic proclivities were blossoming at this time, and we were happy to take advantage of that and use some of his ideas to provide a grander visual experience to our audience.
These are some of the best pictures of Bob, er, I mean Robert, in all of his artistic intensity. Patt looks good too, but he always looks good, photogenic prodigy that he is. Oddly, I am not having a bad hair day for a change either (hey, I deserve one good day). And Gerry, what’s with that hat? Oh yeah, this was our artsy-fartsy stage. Damn the 80s – – guess that explains my perm, too…
As a bonus, check out the completely unrelated (or is it? Mwahaha-a-a) Buffalo News article at the bottom of this post…
