Parousia 1986: Bill (Frank) Simms; Gerry North Cannizzaro; Robert Stuart Lowden; Garth Sherwood Huels; Patt Connolly
On June 28, 1986, Parousia held its eighth show-case performance at the Chamber, the band’s personal art and performance space bordering the band’s home cities of Kenmore and Buffalo. The strategic location of the Chamber gave our friends and fans an easy opportunity see us perform. They liked that and so did we.
It was another cool night with a chill crowd…Shows at The Chamber were close and intimate, a good place to hook-up and score drugs apparently… but for us, it was a place where we could connect with the audience because the audience was right there in front of us, to the left and to the right of us.…
The band booked to open for us was called “Trinity”. Parousia took the stage at midnight and played a set of tunes like, “Lie Awake”, People’s Court”, “The Weekend Starts Tonight”, “Life Is The Real”, and the progressive opus, “Northway/Vermont”.
