“Our Spectacular Return” (as stated on our band flyer) on a Saturday night! The band was back on home turf and although three-inches of snow fell on the ground that day, Parousia warmed things up a bit when they took the stage. Parousia pulled in a nice sized crowd this night, there were lots of people to fill up the room thanks to loyal fans, friends and publicity from WGRQ.

Parousia: Eric Scheda Barry Cannizzaro, Patt Connolly, Kim Watts, Robert Lowden, Gerry Cannizzaro and Garth Huels
To help promote the show, 97 Rock was playing Parousia’s song ‘Miss Ogyny’ from the “home grown” Buffalo Rocks album. Also, the band pulled-in some new fans while opening for Pegasonics at the Granada Theater back in December. A good majority of the folks attending that show were friends and fans from Kenmore NY and that’s exactly where the Plant-6 was located.
This was our second gig at the Plant-6 and it was pretty clear that this was going to be a one of those special venues we could play at again and again and still find it enjoyable. The best thing about playing the Plant-6 on a Saturday night is that we didn’t have to compete with the Friday Fish-Fry crowd for set-up space. On Friday’s, the fish fry at Plant-6 took up the first two levels on the stage and we couldn’t put one piece of equipment on it until everyone had stuffed their face and the fish-fry was over! Sometimes, we’d have to skip sound-check by the time we claimed the stage.
